The word "Kata", means "Form". As Japanese slang, it loosely means "a way of doing something."

"The Katas" are my forms.  They represent applied techniques, and reflect my production style. Each "Kata" release is a collection of similar genre/styles. Rather than have a shotgun blast of musical styles, this set is designed to focus on collating similar styles.

 

The Katas are being released in chunks.  The first three releases, are "Electro-Trap Katas" (6 tracks), "Drum N Bass Katas" (6 Tracks), and "The Source Kata" (1 track); they are volumes 1, 2, and 3, respectively.  These first three installments are purely instrumental, and many will have lyrics in the future.

Please note that "Drum N Bass Katas", includes two previously released tracks (Dasubot 25; old versions).  Both have been updated by re-mastering and upgrading the bitrates.  More to come of the Katas; I will make a page for each release, if there is enough interest, and go a little deeper.
